I was more worried about leaving out a word or two here and there because it's hard to keep track of your thoughts when you're translating each letter. (I was working from a key I kept from some project in grade six.) < opens new window and goes to translate latin > I think you made a typo. Vele means lightly armed troops. Confici seems to have almost as many meanings as lepide, or whatever that word was. Could you clarify? I used InterTran.
You cheated. :p I had to translate all that by hand. (I also wanted to translate all that by hand, but that is beyond the point. )
Do you know where I could get a Siberian postcard for Heidi? I was in Regina this weekend, but I didn't have time to look for a postcard, and, anyway, I thought she might have suspected something. :( :p

Oops. The Latin was supposed to be "vale amica confici" or "Goodbye, friend. STOP/FINISH/etc."

Yeah, that's what I was thinking I was going to have to do. I even got as far as deciding that if I'm putting clear tape over it to protect it, it should be after I've written on it. For me, that's super-organized. < nods >
