Update

It occurs to me that my non-existent readership deserves to know my final NaNoWriMo word-count: 27,697. This is what happens when life insists upon interfering. Life. Irritating. I wish my mission did not require me to continue with my university student cover; it would free up my time to deal with more important things. Like my Facebook account. :p (Coincidentally, I wonder how many Kate Blacks there are on Facebook. I should check that out... Not a lot, as far as I can tell. Although a lot of people not called Kate Black show up when I search for it. Interesting.)

Anyway, I'm home for Christmas now (still a ritual necessary to maintain my cover) and my laptop is sick. Well, actually, it has been working fine, but it was in a coma for a while, so I'm taking it to get checked tomorrow. Apparently it doesn't require Siberian cold to do it in.
